VoxNote does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server. Your recordings, transcriptions, summaries, and translations never leave your device.

Network usage

VoxNote requires an internet connection only to download AI models (WhisperKit and MLX) on first use. These models are downloaded from Hugging Face and Apple's servers and cached locally. After the initial download, VoxNote works fully offline.

Microphone access

VoxNote requests microphone access solely to record audio for transcription. Audio is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded anywhere.

Analytics

VoxNote currently does not collect any analytics data. Future versions may include anonymous, non-identifiable usage analytics (such as feature usage frequency and average recording duration) to help improve the app experience. Any such data would never be linked to your identity.
